Tommy Kay
Tommy has been in the music industry for over 15 years and has enjoyed major success in a very diverse number of musical positions from club dj to club promoter to freelance music journalist with 3 major UK based magazines to his more recent roll as one part of an exciting new music production team called the lovetones.
Playing Tommy Gallo he provides a more disco edged house sound with the emphasis on strong uplifting vocals and pumping catchy bass lines and has been given rave reviews from some of the nations top DJS such as Bob Sinclar, Moto Blanco, Freemasons, ATFC, Seamus Haji, Jason Herd Graeme Park, Alistair Whitehead to name a few.
Under Tommy Kay he plays a tough house sound which has caused quite a storm on some of the nations top dance floors and combines an uplifting cross blend of Dutch house with a twist of high energy, a unique sound with the visual presence of a DJ at the top of his game.
Over the last 14 years Tommy has worked for some of the biggest names in the clubbing scene from the early years with residencies with Rezerection and The Fubar in Stirling to holding down journalism jobs with Eternity magazine and M8 for over 3 years, he was also runner up two years in a row in the Kensitas Club DJ competition winning the regional final 2 years in a row.
As well as playing the super glamorous Flaunt he also has residences at Edinburgh Edinburgh’s biggest mixed gay night Luvely at the liquid rooms and So It Is at faith.
On his travels he has played at Miss Moneypenny's in Birmingham to a residency at Trade and Guest slots at Manumission Ibiza and numerous outdoor festivals. Music Production is his main aim now and Tommy is one part of the new up and coming production team The Lovetones.
