Niall Auld & Fraser Shaw AKA the 'Studiopunks' wave goodbye to 2008 after completing an incredible first year together which saw them commissioned to remix the legendary 'Jocelyn Brown,' score a top ten hit in the Spanish charts and even find time to ensure their inimitable brand of ‘'cross-over'' house graced the covers of a variety of compilation CDs including the official Pacha Ibiza album!

Their year kicked off in style collaborating with vocalist Kaysee on their debut project ‘Time,' leading them on to acclaimed, Spanish based label; 'Vendetta records.' Remixes shortly followed from house heavyweights; Richard Grey and Tikaro/J Louis/Ferran and their debut track went on to hit an impressive number 10 in the official Spanish charts! However, don't be fooled by their mainstream succes, the 'Punks are indeed no strangers to the underground scene with 'Time' and follow up release 'Free your Love ' both respectively breaking into the highly sought after 'top 40' positions on exclusive download sites 'Beatport & 'DJ download' at various points during the year.

So what's left for them to do in 2009?

Their latest project 'Believe' is due out shortly on Vendetta and proves that diversity is definitely something that is not lacking in their game, as the boys demonstrate by churning out not only a tough, electro-infused club mix aimed soley at the dance floor but also an additional trademark piano-laden house mix to please the more funky inclined floors of clubland . Another collaboration with DJ Angel will also see the release of' 'How does it Feel' on Nik Denton's Toolbox imprint (full details on the date of this release to follow) and their remix work also shows no sign of letting up with forthcoming mixes due out in late February for DJ Neo & Jocelyn Brown's 'Better Life' on Vendetta and The Pinups ft Soraya Vivian's ‘Missing You,' on Pure Funk records.
