Graeme Park
Graeme Park's history appears to be perfectly intertwined with the history of dance music and club culture itself. Beginning his journey in the early 80s a record shop in Nottingham is responsible for the birth of a DJ legend. When the shop owner branched in to the nightclub industry Graeme saw an opportunity not to be missed.
As his reputation as a house pioneer grew so to did his following. The following year after securing a residency at Hacienda, one of Manchester's most prestigious clubs Graeme's reputation became fermented as one of the most up and coming DJs. This allowed him to break boundaries in the music industry by being the first British DJ to perform in Australia.
Having spent 8 years rocking the cathedral like dimensions of Hacienda Graeme felt he still had more goals to achieve. Having put in the ground work with nearly a decade of entertaining club land was Graeme's oyster; easily securing regular slots for Renaissance, Cream, Sub Club, Déjà vu and other big names kept Graeme busy across the UK.
Nevertheless Graeme has found the time to start his own nights under the banner GP inc. where he plays house music classics from across the ages. Not even the airwaves were free from Graeme's contagious personality. He presented shows on Kiss and Galaxy, you can no find him on Manchester's Key 103. Graeme has spent over two decades entertaining and performing. He was at the forefront of the dance scene before it had even started.
